Description

The Ohio Department of Education (ODE) requires all individuals who supervise, direct or coach a student activity program to have a Pupil Activity Validation (PAV) certificate. This course exposes these individuals to the proper way of assessing life threatening and non-life threatening injuries, as well as basic injury management and prevention strategies. The course also covers a variety of other health and safety topics that can arise when supervising and working with student athletes. The Ohio High School Athletic Association requires this certificate for all of its coaches in Ohio. Nationwide Children's Hospital’s Community Education Department and the Ohio Department of Education have registration information for classes offered at Nationwide Children's Hospital.

Cancellation Policy: There must be 10 coaches preregistered by 5/21/19. If there are not 10 coaches preregistered by then the course will be canceled.

Refund Policy: Refunds will only be given in the case that the course is canceled by NCH Sports Medicine. We are no longer able to give refunds if the coupon code has not been entered properly. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.
